April Showers
Spring is here and in Southern Ontario it almost feels like summer already. It's finally time for cool, crisp and refreshing white wines! Sauvignon Blanc always reminds me of Spring – it has fresh green notes like asparagus and grass, and is a wine that thrives in a somewhat cooler climate. This time last year I was on my honeymoon in the Loire Valley, France, where Sauvignon Blanc is abundant, delicious and well priced. Life is pretty good when you're surrounded by stunning Chateaux, forests, wineries and in the good company of cheese & baguettes (and of course a wonderful husband).
